The Caterpillar Hydraulic Plant was a Lump Sum design-build project. The project scope included the 170,000-square-foot addition to the existing manufacturing facility.
A new 7,200 square foot training and cafeteria facility that will support the functions of the Vought manufacturing facility and the Global Aeronautic manufacturing facility.
Honda of South Carolina – Pack Line Expansion
Thompson Turner was selected to execute the design and construction of Honda’s new Pack Line building. The building will allow Honda space to effectively prepare their side by side utility vehicle for shipping and provide a new space to load the units into over-the-road trailers for distribution.
Fiber Industries Warehouse Expansion
After 13 years of dormancy, Fiber Industries envisioned refurbishing and restarting a well-known fiber manufacturing facility in Darlington, SC. Thompson Turner Construction was hired by Fiber Industries to complete a new warehouse expansion to the plant’s existing “W” building to allow for efficient storage and handling of the facility’s new product. This project was completed on budget and within the 12-week allotted duration.
