We work with our clients to make sure the scope of the project is clearly defined while keeping budget, schedule constraints, and safety in mind.  From high school football stadiums and press boxes to collegiate athletic facilities capable of hosting ACC tournaments, Thompson Turner Construction has completed some of the most valuable athletic facilities throughout the state, on time and on budget.

Though we have success in completing new athletic facilities, we also excel in renovations and additions to existing athletic facilities and complexes.  Our quality control measures and attention to detail serve to complement these challenging projects.

Brookland-Cayce HS Stadium

Thompson Turner Construction was hired by Lexington County School District Two as the CM At-Risk for the new construction of the Brookland-Cayce High School Stadium located in a busy residential area. The stadium is home to the Bearcats’ football and soccer teams and is a suitable venue for state championship contests, band competitions and graduation ceremonies.

College of Charleston Baseball Stadium

Thompson Turner Construction was hired by the College of Charleston to renovated the Ballpark at Patriots Point stadium. The Ballpark at Patriots Point is the home of Cougar Baseball.

College of Charleston TD Arena

Thompson Turner Construction was hired by the College of Charleston to build the new 5,100-seat, TD Arena and renovate the existing John Kresse Arena. This state-of-the-art arena is the home of College of Charleston men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball.

Brookland-Cayce High School Arena

CM At-Risk

Thompson Turner Construction was hired by Lexington County School District Two as the CM At-Risk for the new Brookland-Cayce High School Arena as part of their $225 million bond referendum.

The scope of this facility includes the new construction of a 43,000 SF, 1,500-seat basketball gymnasium will have an extensive weight room, interior and exterior turf, terrazzo, concessions area and office space, and locker rooms for both home and away teams.

Upon completion in December 2018, the Arena played host to the Duke Blue Devils basketball team in the NCAA March Madness Tournament.
